Reminders for Your Upcoming Rental
Thank you for choosing Positive Energy Bounce House! ⚡🎉 We’re excited to be part of your upcoming event. To ensure a smooth experience, please take a moment to review the following important details:
Cancellation Policy
All deposits are non-refundable, as they reserve your rental for the scheduled date. However, your $50 deposit may be applied toward a future rental within one year of the original reservation. Refunds are issued only in cases of rain or unsafe weather conditions (e.g., high winds).
Remaining Balance
If you’ve only paid the deposit, the remaining balance must be paid before delivery, unless you’re paying in cash. Payments can be made via the card on file or in person with cash. Please note: we do not accept checks except for church or school events. Our drivers do not carry change — any overpayment will be treated as a gratuity.
Lawn Preparation
Please ensure your lawn is mowed no later than the day before setup. If the grass is dead or patchy, that’s okay — we will place a tarp beneath the inflatable.
Tables & Chairs
Tables and chairs will be delivered curbside in a stacked arrangement. Setup and breakdown are not included unless pre-arranged (at a rate of $0.50 per item). Please re-stack all items for pickup.
Space Requirements
Verify that your setup area has enough space to accommodate the rental, including overhead clearance. Please also ensure the delivery path is clear. We operate on tight schedules and may not be able to wait for obstacles to be cleared.
Water Access
You are responsible for providing a working water spigot within 50 feet of the setup area and must supply your own hose. We carry a very limited number of extra hoses only for emergency backup purposes. If one is available, it may be rented for $10–$20. To avoid delays, please ensure your hose is already connected, any nozzle is detached and the hose reaches the setup location.
Power Access
Please ensure that a power outlet is available within 100 feet of the setup location. Most standard bounce houses require just one outlet. XL units require two outlets, and some obstacle courses may need up to three outlets — each on a separate circuit to prevent breaker trips.
We always supply extension cords for inflatables. However, if you prefer to use your own, it must be 12-gauge or better. You must use your own extension cords for concession machines. The inflatable’s power source must be dedicated — no other devices should share the same outlet.
Staking & Anchoring
Inflatables are secured with ground stakes. If your setup area prohibits staking, notify us in advance so we can bring sandbags. Some units require up to 1,000 lbs of sandbags, which may incur additional fees and impact delivery capacity.
Sprinkler Systems
We are not liable for damage to sprinkler systems. If you have one, please inform us of areas to avoid when staking. For overnight rentals, make sure sprinklers are turned off to prevent water damage. If the unit is soaked due to sprinklers, a cleaning and drying fee will apply ($100).
Park Rentals
For events in parks, the customer is responsible for obtaining all required permits (e.g., general event and special use permits). We will provide a certificate of insurance if needed. A park delivery fee of up to $100 may apply. We will deliver up to one hour before and retrieve the equipment no later than one hour after the event ends.
Generators
All generator rentals are delivered filled with fuel. It is your responsibility to monitor the fuel level every hour and refill as needed during the event.
Supervision & Liability
Rented equipment must never be left unattended. You are responsible for ensuring proper and safe use at all times. Any damage, loss, or theft occurring while the equipment is unsupervised will void your damage waiver (if applicable). For park events, you must remain on-site until pickup is completed.
